I have a Park Avenue with 165,000 miles. The other day I was driving and smelled a burning wire. Then my car died. Pulled over and the wire leading from the alternator to the fuse box was sheared in half by rubbing on the alternator belt. Replaced the wire. Now it won't start. It started one last time and it threw p0300 Random Misfire code. It's not the CPS as I have spark. Recently new plugs and wires. Tested the ICM and it's getting 12 volts and has a good ground. The ICM is only supplying 7.5 volts to the CPS. The spark is there but looks weak. Could this be the ICM ? I'm stumped. Thanks.
