3800 V6 II Crank No Start

I have a Park Avenue with 165,000 miles. The other day I was driving and smelled a burning wire. Then my car died. Pulled over and the wire leading from the alternator to the fuse box was sheared in half by rubbing on the alternator belt. Replaced the wire. Now it won't start. It started one last time and it threw p0300 Random Misfire code. It's not the CPS as I have spark. Recently new plugs and wires. Tested the ICM and it's getting 12 volts and has a good ground. The ICM is only supplying 7.5 volts to the CPS. The spark is there but looks weak. Could this be the ICM ? I'm stumped. Thanks.

Autozone may test your ICM. I do not know how good their test is. There are probably driving transistors incorporated into the ICM module that may have fried. You will still have to check for fuel pressure, and you will have to check to make certain that the fuel injectors are firing. You will have to get a noid light and check for voltage at the injectors if you do not hear them all clicking.
I always try to keep in mind fuel, spark, air.

I tested the fuel pressure today. Absolutely no fuel pressure. I cycled the fuel pump a few times. What's strange to me is that I can hear the fuel pump turn on every time but no pressure. Can the fuel pump be turning on and still not produce pressure? Thanks for the reply.

check that body ground... then the fpr, and the fuel filter. in this situation to test the regulator you would need to pull the return line off and put a hose on to funnel the gas into a container if the regulator is bad the pressure will stay low and fuel will flow from the return line when you cycle the key. it is also possible that the motor in the pump has twisted free from the pump itself (from fatigue or a plugged filter or regulator), you would test for this with a dead head fuel pressure test after you know for certain the power and ground to the pump are good and the fuel filter is good

pretty much saying the fuel system at 0 psi is why the car isn't starting, whether its a fuel system component or an electrical problem is what needs to be addressed

Wasn't the ignition system since I had spark. Thought an electrical component might have shorted out After you guys said check fuel system I started with electrical components because of the wire being sheared by the alt. Also I had zero fuel pressure. I could hear the fuel pump turning on. Fuse was good. Switched the relay with another one and it started. Fried fuel pump relay when the wire was cut. Thanks for the help.
