Any alternate devices i can use for DHP powertuner software?

The programmer should be able to just read whatever file is on your car. HPTuners doesn't have the stock file repository built into the database the same way DHP did, so it has nothing to compare to. Newer PCMs have additional features that may stamp the files in a way for OEMs to yell at you, but ours are too old for most of that to get implemented.

Some PCMs would get a lock put in the code (DHP 1.0, etc.), but it wasn't too difficult for savvy programmers to un-do that and move forward.
 
Option #1 would be wait for a used PT to pop up for sale. There's usually a couple each year that show up on classifieds here, GPF, or FB.

Beyond that, there "might" be some means of getting hardware, still, but that's a low probability of success in both finding and programming properly.

I've bought an HPT in recent years, when I was not wanting to solely rely on just the DHP anymore, but have yet to take the credit plunge, aside from the initial purchase ones. I feel that same hesitation.
