I have an 03' buick century with the standard 3100 SFI engine. Seens how the 97-05 Buick centurys never came with with the 3800 (to my knowlage). I was wondering if its possible to swap my 3.1L with a 3.8L supercharged engine out of a 97-05 Buick regal. Being more or less the same body style would it just drop in or would i have to change engine mounts or other things? Any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks For lookin.:)

I wonder how hard it would be to just throw a blower onto the 3100. Say an M62 off the older L67, or off an ecotec. Seems like it'd be a one-off.

throwing a blower on the 3.1L would be very one off and probably cost prohibitive in that he could probably buy a regal for what it would cost to do right.

As for dropping in the whole drive train, I don't see why not. Wiring will probably mate up, and you could drop the whole subframe assemblies from the donor to your car to make it easy.
