would LS6 valve springs be an alright upgrade, they are 95 lb springs, I currently have those on the car, and during my rebuild, I put a s1x in it, havent started it up yet, just curious

Doug I'd imagine the LS6 springs would work, but you might want to keep the redline reasonable. The cam specs on the S1x are so close to the XP, and most everyone runs 105's with the XP from what I understand.

Actually from what I have seen the XP is much closer to the stage 2 than the stage1X

I have the stage2 and was going to use the newer LS2/LS6 springs which I think are still 90lb springs. INTENSE recommended the 105lbers and Zoomer said the LS2 springs would be fine up to 6300rpms.

I have the Ls6 springs oin mine and I'm shifting a tad over 6300 (more like 6350) and it's been fine. I may bump up the shift points to 6400.

LS2 springs are the same as LS1s, 70lbs seat pressure and not really an upgrade. LS6 springs are excellent for most mild and moderate cams including the S1x IMHO

anybody notice the guy who started this topic has an L36?

Specs are alot different on the NA cam, and he prolly doesnt need NEARLY the upgrades described.
