Would it be possible to do a RWD conversion on a 1995 Buick Park Avenue?

As is normally the case in the auto service industry, pretty much anything is possible. BUT..... the conversion you mentioned would cost way too much. When I say way too much, we would be talking in the FOUR FIGURE RANGE. It would be cheaper and better to simply buy a rear wheel drive car and work off that.............. Jake

OK, OK, if you insist. You are gonna need enough money to build an entire RWD chassis under the bottom side of that Buick. This of coarse includes rear differential and related suspension, front suspension and steering which will also allow mounting of the the engine and accessorys, you are going to need a different engine and trans to allow mounting for a "rear wheel drive" chassis. After this is done or perhaps before engine and trans install, brake set up installed (including all the plumbing) along with a rear differential and mounting hardware/suspension and steering gear and related parts. Keep in mind while doing all the preceeding chassis work/set-up, you also need to make sure the body itself has been modified/cut up to allow proper positioning of this chassis and related parts. Once you get to the point of actually mounting this chassis to the body, You are going to need to be sure of good clearance around the engine, trans, drive line, and rear differential.

Once you get to this point and all the under body car is pretty much complete, you will need to remake all electrical to make all this stuff run and be able to control it all. After that, you can start on passenger compartment wiring and electronics and accessorys. Good part here is you can choose what you want and where you want it.

I just had another thought, It's pretty obivous you are not knowledgeable about a rear wheel drive car/chassis. That being said, the amount of money you are going to need to buy the parts and have this car built the way needed, It would be cheaper to simply go buy a nice rwd hot rod and be done with it. You could probably by a couple of ZR1 Camaros or a GRAND SPORT vett cheaper. I won't put a price on your project......looking at that last sentence should spell it out pretty clearly.

Good luck with your vision and send us pics as you go..............

Oh by the way, as you go on this project, best if you pick as many brains as you can to get the best quality parts as you go. After doing all this stuff, you do not want it failing or in frequent need of service/repair. BASICLY, "top shelf quality" parts as you go. It not really a fair comparrison, but picture yourself building a Monster Truck from the ground up.................
