being i am still a student to this here game i have yet another question: Is a cam safer in the long run, becuase rockers change the valve angle travel? I heard that it doesn't change much but it does change. the same guy said,"Get a mild cam and you will have more power safer in the long run."

can anyone verify this statement?

Howdy,

There is validity to your friends statement. this issue is negligible, however. It is also true that a camshaft is a better choice in the long run. rockers are "instant coffee"
for quick power, and are convenient for those who are unable to install a camshaft. Hope this helps.
