No reason the engine can't handle it as long as it's in good running condition & has supporting mods. There's plenty of guys out there running highly modded 3800s with over 200,000 miles on the clock. Most important thing you can do before you start messing with supercharger pulleys is to get a scanner that reads knock retard. The lower the KR the better (0 degrees is optimal, but not always possible).
