Earlier this week I bought my very first car with a Series II 3800SC engine. It's a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Mechanically the car drives great, but it's really under powered. The engine looks great, until I took off the plastic cover and found a CLUSTER F**K of loose wires. And then I noticed that the wiring harness wasn't cleaned up at all. I know because the car is different from the engines original car (98 Bonneville I think) not all of the connections are needed. Just wondering what can be deleted from the harness?, How can I clean up the harness? and what are some easy ways to restore some lost power. I will post pictures tomorrow. Thank you all.
