LS1TB...Alky Solenoid or Not???

Just wondering how guys set up their WI kits when using a LS1TB. Would a solenoid not be needed seeing how the mix could be injected after the MAF but before the TB? I'm thinking a solenoid would still be needed to keep the mix from entering the motor when the TB blade is opened but the car isn't in boost? What's the general concensus on this?

I don't have a LS1 TB but if you want the saftey of knowing that the vac from the motor will not pull in alky get a check valve.

this nice brass one ,with Maximum Pressure: 220 psi, opens at 2.5 psi of pressure . Ball and spring are Type 316 stainless steel; seal is Viton basicaly you can run 100% methonol through it all day.
