leaning out 60lb injectors
i have a stage 1x that i'm gathering parts together for the install, and i know i pretty much have to upgrade my injectors, and i'm leaning towards the 60's b/c i don't like to buy things more than once. it's only going to be 1x cammed for now, but i do plan on running a stage 3 at some point. i guess my question is can you lean out the 60's enough to support a mid 12 sec 1x'd L67, or would i have to start with smaller injectors?

How are your WOT shifts? I'm looking into this right now, I'm setting my AFC also at 91ish% and WOT shifts are slower now from it.
What are you PW's? You sure you need all the injector? I got a MP112 ICed cammed L67 with a smaller pulley and im wondering if that may be too much for even me. May not be with a 2.6".

I have tried the 42.5lbers and my IPWs at 6K rpms would get up to 25ms
My 36lb injectors got up to 29+ at 6K rpms.
The 60lbers at 6400 rpms get up to 16ms.

Yes the 1-2 shift does seem slow, maybe this is happening to me. I definitely could be wrong though, I am not the best judge of slipping shifts/sluggish shifts.How are your WOT shifts? I'm looking into this right now, I'm setting my AFC also at 91ish% and WOT shifts are slower now from it
i run 57# injectors with IPWs around 15
Milzy I have the 60s and the S1X and im able to lean them out enough. Im just using the mini afc 1.1 to do that. No problems here so far.

Milzy I dont see why you couldnt lean them out still. You shodul be alright. Just scan and tune.

You'll be fine, just use an AFC.
