So I was in a rush this weekend to put my upper plenum back on the intake manifold. When I went to torque down the bolts I grabbed the wrong torque wrench and snapped a couple bolts before I realized the problem. I tried looking up some replacement bolts but I couldn’t find what I was looking for.

Take it as an opportunity to put some nice ones from the hardware store in there. I believe they're all M6 x 1.00 thread, and you can get them from Ace, Lowe's, Home Depot, or Tractor Supply, etc. You can measure the length or bring some to the store to compare for certainty.

I do this with 90% of the hardware I replace on engines, to get a cleaner look and even go for allen heads when available (socket head cap screws).
