Hi I have a 2003 custom Buick LeSabre with 122,000 miles on it, I want to keep the block and heads stock and focus on other mods and eventually a good turbo for it that spools pretty quickly for my car which will be my daíy driver. I know at 122,000 miles the engine could go but I lucked out on a 1987 T-TYPE that I modded with 92,000 miles on it. I have had an 1987 Turb9 Buick regal and like modifying these 6 cylinder cars. I just don't want to go to big on the turbo, I bad a 60-1 turbo in my 87 and it had major turbo lag. I went with a PTE-44 turbo and the car was a blast on the street. Does anyone have experience with switching turbo's on their 3800?? I would be happy if i had a car that produced 12.00 quarter mile time slips but it will probably not be raced. I just don't want to buy a bigger turbo and have that same turbo lag my 60-1 produced. I had a restarted 3000 D5 in my 87 Regal. Just asking on what set up would give me a street terror in my 2003 Buick LeSabre??
