Well, I decided to hold off on putting a smaller pulley on my car and scan it first to make sure everything is ok.

I got my LS1M today so I saved some logs.

2000 Regal GS, 88K
Mods on my car: Stock 3.85" Pulley! Fender Wall Intake, Silver Ceramic TOG Headers, Complete
Custom CatBack exhaust 3" pipe to 2.5" Y, high flow cat, 3" resonator, 2x Magnaflow mufflers. 180 Drilled T-stat. Intense Standard PCM. Autolite 104s (gapped to .055) and new plug wires.

It was very very wet when I did these scans so when I did WOT it would lose traction and rev up very quick and then shift, MPH would eventually get up to 100 even though I was going like 40 so I'm not sure if this impacts the results...

Either way, I have not flipped the swaybar and I do not have a bent tranny dipstick so there might be false knock but i'm not sure...

Also, I'm not sure what all of the numbers mean, but anything else that stands out (lean/rich, etc..) let me know :)

Logs:
0 to shift to 100 (No traction, wet conditions): http://www.storefrontx.com/1.csv

70 to 80 cruise: http://www.storefrontx.com/2.csv

35 to 40 cruise: http://www.storefrontx.com/3.csv

Let me know what you guys think :)

Thanks again,

Get rid of the LFT2 and add (MAF Hz) and (IPW msec). Then scan again when it is dry out and you can get a good (0 to whatever you feel comfortable with), run. I try and find somewhere I can hold it out until I shift into 3rd.

new scan

Well I did a new scan w/ old params earlier today: http://www.storefrontx.com/4.csv

I took your advice, added the 2 params, but ran out of room so I put it on page 2, logged about 10 mins of scanning. And now I just realized it only logs the page your on so I only got MAFF hz reading and no KR/IPW so i'll do it again. But what should I look for? I know MAFF went from 2.3k all the way up to 10.2k

I'll do it again later tonight before it snows :)

Let me know what basic things I should look out for and what kind of ranges things need to have, etc. etc.

Thanks again,
-Alexi

I'm willing to bet that it is false knock. You are getting your KR whenever you hit the gas or when it shifts, and then it goes away, leading me to believe that something is banging in the trans causing false KR. Try putting in some race gas and see if it goes away. If it is real knock, then the race gas should reduce it. If it is false knock, then it will stay there.

Also, try to get a full run where you are at WOT for 5 seconds or so.

My tranny dipstick

Well since my tranny dipstick is just sitting on the crossover of the header i'm guessings its the culprit of the false knock. I ordered the flexible one (I hope its the right one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4509908144)

Either way, i'll put that in, and give it another test for KR. If KR still exists then I will flip the swaybar.

Thanks for the help guys.
