Thanks to john, my IFR tables seem about perfect.... maybe a few tiny tweaks, but LTFT is doing well..

Now the next problem i gotta fix is KR... since i did this, and removed miniafc, right when i get on it, but not even WOT, it jumps to 4*KR and then goes back to 0-1* KR...

I have put almost 300miles on the car since my last change, it should have learned by now..

I did how ever go WOT twice and even with the KR, it pulled harder then it ever has...

Anyways back to my KR problem. Some would say richen it up some at partial throttle to drown out any KR, its wasting fuel but is it that bad? Some say to richen it when you get on the gas over 50% throttle, and as the rpms gain, lean it out some...

What would be the best course of action, and what are the best things to change to help this out?

Steve,

A scan showing the onset of KR along with TPS, RPM, etc would help. Also, include "AFR" in the log so we can see when the car is going into PE and how much fuel it's trying to add.

Take a look at what Rob Archer did towards the bottom of this thread:

Something like that would be one good way to resolve your burst KR. I would still like to see you take a scan first though so we know where we're starting from.

BTW, what did your IFR table end up looking like?

The table wasnt far off from using the *1.15 method... i ended up using like 1.13 closer to WOT side... Dunno if having a fuel pump rewire kit has something to do with it or not...

Ill try and grab my autotap back today, and get some logs on the way home tonight and post... hopefully the car will run right

oh yeah, on the pe add vs tps, this is the stock values

2.3 2.3 2.3 2.3 2.3 2.3 2.3 2.3
2.02 0.72 0.45 0.26 0.1 0.01 0 0
0 0 0 0 0 0

then this is robs...

1.3 1.3 1.3 1.56 1.794 1.794 1.794 1.794 1.794 1.338 0.974 0.906 0.725 0.725 0.725 0.725 0.526 0.199 0.035 0.05 0

changing some values down on the left, and the right side goes up some.. what is actually happening here?

Sorry for all the dumb questions, but there really isnt a manual to this.. :p

Firts of all, remember that this is AFR so a high number means leaner, and vice versa. If I was making this change, I would start by shifting the entire table over to the left by removing some 2.3's on the left and adding an appropriate number of 0's to the right. Of course, that could end up making the car too rich for mid-throttle positions, but it would be a starting point towards eliminating that burst KR. As far as what Rob did, without knowing what his original table looked like it's hard to say what he did and why, but he's a bright guy. I'm sure he had a reason. It's possible that he ran into a too rich condition like I just mentioned and had to scale it back a little.

John

Edit: Made corrections to my backward thinking, sorry.

excellent!

I wasnt sure if higher was richer or leaner...

This might fix my problems...

Im not sure if the dhp 1.0 pcm they changed those values or not.. with i had rockers and 3.0" and dhp, i had 0KR.. then once i went to s1x cam and s1 pcm... i have KR... :(

my autotap is being dumb, and keeps loosing connection....

but from what i have logged, ive got basically all my part throttle KR gone, im gonna give it another days worth of driving to make sure, then probably make a few more tweaks. I still see a little KR here and there... but no 4-5*..

I still see some at WOT, but not as much as before.. right around the 1-2* range..

There really needs to be a good help site for this... That explains all the tables, what they do, blah blah hold my hand kinda stuff :D
