Yo,

Just wondering if anyone has had the problem of their ICCU Adjustable timing not working. Everytime i hook the thing up my IAT sensor reads 270 regardless of timing setting on ICCU.

Ill check the wiring over, but any insight would be great!

TIA, Nathan

Is it safe to assume you you have a PCM coded to support adjustable timing?

yup, the IAT doesnt change, and should change, regardless if the PCM is programmed for it...which it is ;)

Nathan,

270 degrees sounds high enough for me to think that you just might have a short between the two IAT leads, or one of them to ground. IIRC, a higher impedance yields a lower temp, and vice versa.

I also found out when I was programming my PCM for the ICCU that the car must be running for the ICCU to change the IAT sensor readings. I was having the same problem until I started the car then the temps started to change when I changed the timming in the ICCU.

HTH
