Yup good catch.
I don’t pay attention to any of that stuff anymore cuz my car is a combo of a bunch of 3800 engines and its build is finished.
On old dried out bald street 225/60r16’s it ran a 12.89 and for the first 100’ or better I couldn’t go more than 2800 rpm or it was a lot of spinning. Gotta find some rims and drag radials over this winter still.
Same for both of my builds here (parts from all 4 versions, etc.)
Snapped my GTP's stock trans input shaft in '06 right before a Norwalk rental by our Motor City club, and tossed an unknown $75 Lumina LTZ trans in overnight to go. 1-2 shifts took a full second, as seen in scans, but survived trip & a couple high 12's at 110+. Poor car never got a true shot, so that engine may see the Regal next year.
