Yes, I'll probably be working on it today. Something is very wrong in the fuel pump wiring, relays just don't wear out like that. I may just end up hotwiring it and bypass or disconnect the factory crap. Thoughts on that?
well i'll come up after 8 i'm sure you'll still be working but i'll try to find some more relays laying around. Do you plan on hot wiring it to see if there is a bad wire or shorts somewhere or should we at this point just rewire the entire system. We could also wire i our own relays to see if were shorting in the fuse box cuz that relay is only like 2 days old.
I'm just going to be bypassing it. His wiring has been kwirky and unpredictable since day one.
Only problem with hotwiring it would be the fuel pump would be running all the time when the ignition is on, and would probably wear out his fuel pump faster.
