Wait, that wars over. Dang. Hello everyone, I’m Sean! I live in commiefornia, Army vet, love going fast (got the dang speeding ticket to prove it, ugh). I am a member on most of the Facebook pages, and one other forum, grandprixforums, but it’s not that active. Hoping to find a more active community, and most importantly, more actual people in my area (high desert). Anywho, on to my car.
She is my second GTP (first was a 98 when I was young). She’s a 2000, white, black accents (working on the storm trooper look to match my old tundra). So far the mods are minimal. Exhaust, LED bulbs, K&N intake, autolite 103’s, ZZP lowering springs and struts, front LCA’s, Cooper tires (wasn’t expect much, but they grip dang good), Kenwood HU, Alpine 6x9’s in the rear, alpine 5 1/4’s up front. She’s a work in progress, but I love her. I’m going to keep this one for quite a while, the only way I’d sell her is if a black regal or silver monte came up for trade.
Well, that’s about it for now, look forward to seeing what the community has to offer! Have a great night, I’m off to dinner then the graveyard shift!
And yes, you can see my address, yes it’s actually 1320. Haha.

Welcome. GPF is a little more active than here, but both are crickets most days. (both were created as boycotts of the original ClubGP, and that site has pretty much died, sadly). Hopefully, some of these hold out and maintain some of the archived info for years to come, until a select amount of parts/info is as universal as some other useful platforms.

Hope you have a good time messing with the look of the car. Look at running a warmer plug that only a little cooler than stock (104, etc.) while still at 3.4-3.8" pulley, and get a little more efficiency from it.
Well, I can say I’m at 25mpg steady on the way to and from work. As per going warmer, my starts are quicker and the car appears to run a lot smoother on the 103’s. I’ve changed about 4 times in the last few months to see what felt better.

A near-stock L67 with 2.93 trans should be well above that. Both of mine were low-mid 30's before I modded them too much.
Not really. That’s about normal for an 84 mile round trip a day, 5 days a week, cruising about 80.

I’m sure if I was doing around 55/60 it would be a lot better, but, I leave late. Lol

That looks really good.
Thanks! I’ve done more work with the buffer and ceramic experiments. It’s smooth as glass now.

Keep it clean, man. I hate that my 1st GTP rusted away after 14yrs, but I got my money's worth from it in all 4 seasons up north.

Enjoy.

That’s one of the rare benefits with this car, it was bought back East, then within six months had a single service record in California. Far as I could tell, it’s been here ever since.

Sorry, not back East, Kansas, but everything is East of me. Haha.
