I had it on my 2000 Monte Carlo before I went CSC. I thought it worked just as well as all the other kits out there, and at 1/3 the price. Sure you can make your own but by the time you go to the hardware store for the piping, pick up a K&N, which is at least $40 almost anywhere you go for a big one anyway, drill and tap the piping for the IAT, and install it. You could have put down a few more bucks and have it together in no time. I think it's worth it. Especially if you're on a budget like most of the rest of us.
