I just got a cam for my 2k2 firebird, and i dont know weither i should do the install myself, or if i should have a shop do it? I live in chicago so everything is pretty expensive. If anybody knows of any good shops in IL please suggest some.. Thanks for any advise or suggestions. Smitty

There are many online instructions but it all comes down to how comfortable you feel digging that far in your engine.

If you have never done one, i would go to someone who has. There are too many things that you can mess up if you dont knwo what you are doing.

I have helped one one before , on a v-8 so i think i could be able to do it , but my car is a daily driver and i dont know if i trust my self enough to do it.
