Noticed she ran an 11.7 with a previously N/A Monte Carlo SS... powered by a Novi 1000 supercharger.

Does anyone know what other mods she made?

That time is SICK for an L36... I'd like to get my car to break 12s.

When she ran a 12.16 she had this that I know of. Matt said they had a 3800 stall, but I don't know at what point that was installed. Prior to that, she dynoed 388 WHP and ran mid 12's.

CSC Stage 4 intercooled
ZZP VS cam
LS1 springs
ZZP HVIM Insert
TOGs
Custom 3" split to dual 2.5" to stock mufflers
M/T ET streets
3.69 gears
ZZP shift kit
INTENSE HD upgrade w/LSD

I believe Matt said that she was in the 12's with the mods listed but to get into the 11's she dropped to a smaller pulley and no exhaust. Either way those are damn good times.

Yaaaaa... I'd love to have those times. Where does one get the Stage 4 supercharger setup?

I read today that the new Mustang GT is "only" a 14.4 second quarter miler in automagic transmission form. That's slow! My 3800 Impala is probably 16.x, stock.

It's a centrifugal supercharger set up. You can get it on the ZZP website or directly from Matt at stattama.com. It's an awesome kit. I have it on my Monte Carlo SS.

Frank, I really have to make it over to Jersey to hang out and run with you and Craig (SuperMonte). Between your two Monte's and my GT, we could have some people scratching their heads.

I'll tell you one thing. I first started with the Stage 3 Novi1000 with the XP cam and the Intense Gen2 LSD. I could punch that car from a 40mph roll and spin both tires as much as I wanted. I added the intercooler and I don't believe I was properly tuned as I kept wanting to feel what each pulley felt like. By the time I put the 3.2" pulley on I beat down a Camaro SS from a 50mph roll. When I let off I heard the tap tap tap sound of my broken rod.

After that I dropped compression and went up to the Novi2000 and a much bigger cam. It's not nearly as street responsive but it's a monster up top.

Mine is a mix csc stage 2~3 I suppose. I am doing the pcm for my own car, and I have 42.5# injectors and gtp tb added to the mix. Pretty much with a 3.6 pulley I can walk away from a cammed/ 3.25 pulley/headers/pcm/intake/exhaust GTP on a roll with no problem. From a digg he's got me for 10ft. and then I pass by him.

Pretty much have similar mods, but stock gt diff.

I have a very similar setup as well. I have the NOVI 1000 with a 3.4" pulley. I wont drop lower 'cause I'm scared of the problem that you had Pector. My mods are:

NOVI 1000 3.4" w/bypass valve
VS Cam
CSC/VS/DHP PCM
Stage 1 TB
HVII
180' T-stat
AL 103 Plugs (.48)
CSC AFC v1.1
Happy Knob
UD WP Pulley
SLP Headers w/3" downpipe
2 1/2" Catback w/u-bend delete
INTENSE HD conversion w/Gen2 LSD
Thrasher shift kit (med)

I'm running 94 octane with a blip of 1.5 kr at wot, and I mean really wot. It's also 50' here in jersey so I might have to drop my timing down in the summer. I want to keep my car somewhat streetable since there are a lot of traffic lights where I live. I don't want to have to rev to 4k before I start moving. That's why I'm looking for advice on a TC and gears. I've haven't raced my car yet. I was supposed to at SLP Day in Oct. but my blower sprang a leak and I had to send it out for service. It was an awesome showing though. I met Craig there and he ran a 12.2 I think. He's got a sick setup. I'd love to hit the track with you guys. You can give me some advice and pointers, as I'm a virgin racer
