Welcome David!

Could we please get the year of your car, the size of your turbos, information about your cam and heads, torque converter brand and stall speed, differential brand and final drive ratio, and all the intervals from your timeslip inlcuding the third digit of your quarter mile E.T.?

We'd like to get you added to our quarter mile rankings charts.

Is the 98 octane a normal pump fuel down there? I have to drive an hour to buy 100 octane from the pump.

Great times by the way.

From what i have read on the LS1.com.au forums is that in Australia it's a straight RON and the american rating is RON+MON/2 (pump octane).

Correct. We use (R+M)/2, where R = research octane and M = motor octane.

Which all standards are set by the AIE American Institute of Engineers
RON is the octain for pump fuel
MON is to do with octain levels for a motor, to do with knock.
So was explained to me by Shell and Caltex, there is no differance in these levels in any country under this system.
