I'm working with Todd and Scott at Intense in building a motor for a long travel sand rail. I need to remove all the crap and pulleys that come on the motor. I will only be using the alt. no p/s, no a/c, no water pump it will be electric water pump. I plan to move the altinator down where the a/c was at and build bracket. How can I remove the upper alt. bracket and pulley system and route the hot water lines. Does anyone see a problem in useing one belt to run my Alt. and supercharger with a pulley tensioner fabricated? The motor will be Stag III Intense heads, Stag III blower cam, Yella Terra roller rockers, 42.5lbs injectors, Diamond coated pistons 8.5-1, L32 Powder rods, balancer deleted, ATI Balancer, Intercooler , ported intact, ported supercharger, Machine supercharger nose, Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump and boost ref 1:1 regulator, PRJ fuel rails and PRJ spark plug wires custom PCM by Intense running custom headers running out simular to boat headers no muffler to speak of. Any and all information helpful in this build. What do you think? Speak-up. Thx.

Judging by the 2006 post date and last visit being over a decade ago, I don't really expect to hear back from this member. Post history seems like they finished it, and did a bunch of upgrades, but no further info shared.

I know multiple people have done 3800 sand rail builds at this point, but there's not much posted about them (a few videos on YouTube from various ones). The effort would be similar to the custom work required for a Fiero or other swap, but the 3800 is a great candidate for things like this, if you spend the time, money, and effort properly.
