Most definitely was a lot of fun. We need to have some more local guys out there though
My car was set up with Interior removed (need all the weight help with my big butt) and exhaust removed. Everything else intact.
3.0 pulley, no additional timing added, 9" open cone in compartment (no cai/fwi) running race fuel, 63deg temps, nitto 555r tires @ 18psi
Track conditions were less than impressive. They sucked actually. I absolutely hate the damn tires. Hopefully will have some ET drags if someone can come through for me
My results were the following Saga.
1st run - botched. didn't pull 28 fuse, so couldn't get the burnout and launch was terrible. pulled off at 1/8.
run R/T 60' 330' 1/8 mph 1/4 mph
1 .870 2.347 6.205 10.011 54.5 20.45 39.58
2 .748 1.934 5.433 8.311 83.74 12.896 107.59
3 .853 2.039 5.670 8.575 83.91 13.584 82.58
4 .637 1.988 5.520 8.412 83.19 13.008 108.3
5 .697 2.077 5.769 8.664 86.42 13.247 108.89
6 .587 2.004 5.609 8.553 81.69 13.199 106.85
7 .708 1.892 5.388 8.255 84.01 12.811 107.86
8 .723 1.879 5.354 8.206 84.62 12.736 108.94
2nd run was after the fuse pulled. I was pretty happy with it, considering it was the first run in 3 months.
David's run with me had me nervous (run5) as afraid of his ZZP machine. I botched the launch, 60', and run. I suck. His car is running great and was fun to run him.
Run 7 and 8 I finally pulled my head back out of my ass and started getting back in the groove. Track conditions were terrible and I couldn't hook up at all. Even with the 1.879, I was spinning through 20-30' of it. I was feathering the throttle at the launch, but still was to aggressive.
Needless to say, I need practice on the 60'...i suck and admit it openly. I also need to start working on the tuning. Car was running PIG rich all night, started getting it under control the last couple of runs. Just need to find the sweet spot and start working on it.
Thanks to Big Jeff / INTENSE for their help in getting car worked out. Thanks to spd98 (shawn) for the O2 sensor, and everyone else who helped out. (Joe, Jamie, Neil, JD)
HP Tuners - here I come.
