Just picked up this car used at 188,00 miles
When I turn on the turn signal to go right it throws the brights on automatically every time. Is this a wiring issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the lever switch may be broken/worn. Looks like new ones go for $50 on RockAuto, or you can get some install/removal practice at a local U-pull junkyard to get one cheaper that's still OEM quality.

Sounds about right, thanks for the help. I’m definitely excited to see if my local pick n pull has a car similar to mine for parts as there’s a few things I want to replace.

U know I realized today driving to work that it doesn’t do that during the daytime without my lights on. Also car stopped and lost power when getting off the highway had to put in park and turn back on.
You can also restart a car in Neutral, if that situation arises again. Had a short that would randomly kill my old GTP, and had to battle that dangerous situation until I figured it out.

Electrical gremlins are an unfortunate issue with aging EFI cars, and some vehicle history can make that worse (flood cars, bad/ignored maintenance, etc.).

Today it completely died on my way to work had to park it in and get a ride. It was reviving high and low alone in park when It would turn over other times it wouldn’t turn over at all. The engine seems to be pulling. I’m not to good with electrical I guess I’m gonna have to learn.
