    Fel-Pro makes the blue 35351 and the metal 35804 water pump gaskets for the 3800 in my 2005 Impala. The documentation says some water pumps (not mine) are stamped that they require a metal gasket, so the choice for them is obvious. But is the metal better for (or does it even work on) all water...
