Hello to everyone on 3800pro!
You may have noticed the server downtime last week-- it was done to prepare the site for a move to a new home.
I have effective today transferred ownership of 3800pro.com to a new owner.
3800pro.com is now part of the automotive family of websites owned by Verticalscope. This is a great thing for the 3800pro members.
Why the change?
For most of you and the moderators, you know that I acquired 3800pro, along with INTENSE
Racing, from Scott Cook early last year. I havent taken an active role here, focusing on INTENSE
on a daily basis. While Scott and Todd started 3800pro and actively contributed to its growth, running a forum isnt really at the core of what we do at INTENSE
. So Ive elected to transfer ownership to Verticalscope, which is honestly a much better fit.
The moderators here do a stellar job of keeping things organized, and I expect this to continue. I also plan to participate more in the forum, and hope that with new third-party owners there will be increased participation from other vendors as well.
With my focus on the growth of INTENSE
, Ive not been able to build 3800pro. Verticalscope brings capital, staff and marketing to really take 3800pro to the next level. This means more options and more opportunities for 3800pro members.
How does this affect you?
The beautiful part is it doesn't affect you at all. All the moderators stay just as they are and you get to continue to enjoy the site as always. Other than a new admin behind the scenes, 3800pro continues as it always has.
The next level!
With the resources available to Verticalscope, 3800pro is on the cusp of great things. I expect to see new vendors, increased participation, and growth of the community that surrounds the 3800 platform.
