IMO, the best car for that is a late 90's (ie 98, 99, 00, etc) 2 door GTP. My reasons? I prefer a 2 door (don't think the L32 came in any 2 doors). They're dirt cheap being 10+ years old (just tougher to find one that hasn't been raped on). Look somewhat sporty. Has a HUD and lots of interior nice features. Has a more sporty factory suspension- plus all the available wbody upgrades.
My second choice would probably be an L67 monte (04-05?), but being so much newer and more rare, they're a lot more expensive- plus no HUD
I used to have a 99 GTP, and I'll definitely pick up another in the future for a daily beater.

Comp G weighs about 3,600lbs according to most resources I have come across about 100lbs more than the previous year GP and the 20 extra HP from the Gen V basically just makes up for the added weight.
Comp G might be the quickest factory, just due to the 3.29 gear set

I think the 20 hp makes up for the weight but either way I was referring to the gear set.

Come to think about this, it really doesnt matter, because Im a fan of anything as long as it's quick and fast-especially coming from a 4 door!
