Thinking of going to a crazy big 4000+ stall

Any recommendations? I currently have a 3600 Vigilante in my Formula and LOVE it. Now the V6 needs some help. Yank seems to be a bit pricey to me, perhaps TCI? Anyone?

4k stall with a 5800 redline? GO FOR IT! I'd like to see the outcome, might be a bit much for street tires at the track though. Sounds pretty sick to me

I had a Yank SS4000 in my C5 with stock internals (6,000 redline), I pulled a 1.5x 60' and 1.5 years later still have the quickest N/A stock heads/cam A4 C5. The driveability will still be fine as long as you go with at least a 3.73 rear end ratio.

LOL, I don't think I've had "street" tires on the car since 2000. Hmmm... My Mickey's say "ET Street" does that count? Redline will be bumped up as well, I've had a cam in the car since 2003, going to go through and refresh the valvetrain and tune the car. Should rev to about 6500. Hoping for mid 13's on horsepower and mid 11's on the gun this year!

Face, interesting comment about the gear ratio. I was thinking I would be ok with 3.42's? Any comment on that?

It'd feel kinda loose with the 3.42's. I could probably deal with it for a while(had a 3500 stall with 3.15's for a 6 months), but I would start saving for 3.73's or 3.90's.

I run 4.10's in my WS6 and get 1.7's on drag radials (M6 car).

A new rear is in the works for me this year, only ran on slicks twice now, the gears are howling off and on.
