I have a Stalker V-6 Sports Car. It uses an L67 Supercharged engine with a Tremec T-5 trans, bellhousing, flywheel and throw out bearing from late 90's Camaro/Firebird. Everything bolts up except you will need to drill a hole in the bellhousing for the hydraulic line and bleeder for the TO bearing.

The engine, blower, flywheel, trans etc weighs about 575 lbs.

You have a few options, it really depends on if you want an auto or manual. Your easiest route if you want an auto is to use a mid-late 80s/early 90s 700R4 which is an overdrive transmission and very common and should be cheap and easy to find. You will need one that came with a fwd style bellhousing, so you will be looking for a trans that came in a car with a 2.8 or 3.1 V6. The S10 trucks with a 4cyl and 2.8 V6 also used this trans with the proper bellhousing. If you want a manual then using a T5 will be your best bet and again the same vehicles used this setup. Being the 700R4 hasnt been used in anything in roughly 15 years you may have trouble finding a good one unless you rebuild it or get a known good one. Good luck with the project if you go through with it!

Thanks Robert Husted

In order to use a L67 in a RWD application, here is what you need.

A 94-95 Chevy S10 bellhousing
A V8 Mustang T5 (because it can take the torque of the L67) And there are MANY applications of the T5 so be careful of which you choose.

I plan on doing the "same" thing as midgetracr.

Good luck
