M-90 stock cam 1/4mile record???!!!
Well the Chicago Garage had a little track outing at byron,il.
We had been working on mikes car(12.99someday) since the last TCG outing to make sure it was going to break 11s. Sure enough on its 3rd pass it did ...and a backpass to match.
11.844@115.56
1.765 60'
With no rear end suspension limiters on 100k stock rear struts and lowering springs.
While it will be argued to death because of the nitrous use but this did set the m-90 stock cam record which was held by Steve mayes for the last 4 years or so.
Weight reduction was done, about 150lbs removed and nothing that couldnt be put back on in minutes.
For the next pass we put on the cable mod, tho it didnt help but did back up the record. Each pass were about a tenth slower the the other because of heat and plug issues.
11.9s@114
12.09@111
The Car needs more fuel/alky tuning seeing as the AFR was in the very low 10s all day excpet for the 11.8 pass which was in the 10.90s to 11.30s. Which was not making for easy takeoffs as the car would get real rich and fall on its face a little after the launch unless spraying out of the hole which would break loose the tires with ease.
The track kept having little 5 minute raining sessions and from what we were seeing the track prep was starting to fade a bit so times were left at that
we packed up and Mike drove it home.
This is probably the last time the car will see the track this year so we were glad to see it counted.
With a few upgrades this winter the Non-IC record is the next goal it would seem...or at least somthing to shoot for.
Congrats to Mike again

Thanks to you and V the most!! You guys are the sh#t for helping me out with everything there. Woot Woot for the record haha. Now i'm just waiting for the arguing.... lol. I wish the track would have held just 1 good launch though. I know i could have cut a 1.6 60' but the track wouldn't hold it But either way I'm definitely happy to say that's the last track day of the year for my poor car.

Non i/c stock cam record? Technically i have it b/c i'm not i/c'd... I'd bet around high 12's though without nitrous. Maybe even my 12.8 lol that might be it haha. I do plan on doing a completely custom direct port nitrous setup for next year (still gotta talk it over with Sinister Drag Design crew) and running up to a 200 shot through my poor car. As for the sig... changing it now.

Thanks Charles. You actually would be part of the very few people i would let touch my tunes. I pretty much learned everything from you in that 2 hour phone chat we had. Next year...? For this year old girl has had enough haha.
