went to the track last night
I got 3 runs in...all of them were the same except the last run due to a 2.2 60ft. 13.8 at 100mph was the best, 13.9 on the last one. I used 110 leaded and a 3.2 pulley and managed to only rip 2.1 60's(I left the coilovers up).
There was a decent headwind, the track wasn't hooking like crazy...even the AWD ET street slicked out talon ripped a 1.9 60 foot at best. I will post a couple vids here later.I was suprised I didn't run faster, but then again alot of cars I expected to run faster were only running low 14's to high 13's.
Maybe it was the heat and headwind that killed it off? I dunno I was really expecting to run faster. My pb of 13.3 was on a non-windy 40* night though but was still running a crappy tune and a 3.4 pulley...not a 80*+ ambient temp day with a decent head wind.
Good news is that my car only knocked 2* max, and it was in 1st only...I think it was launch related. I am hoping the fall will bring me numbers of joy, because the summer runs didn't.
Do A lot of people have this problem that summer runs are slower than the fall runs?

Yea, sounds like the wind and the temperature killed ur mph. As for your et, thats a pretty goot et for the mph you ran. With the mods you have i don't understand how you can't run a 3.2 pulley knock free with 93. Sounds like you need some help with a tune.

yup, I just got a tune a little bit ago from Brian...but it was not at his dyno and there were some issues at the dyno. I will have to give him a call when I am in the Ohio area next. the car should be faster, but I dunno what the deal is. Maybe by the end of the summer I will have some more issues worked out.

You just need a fartcan next to you. Maybe we should get Dyno Brian to the Chicago area so we can have some steaks & beer!

Ur mods should def be good for 12's so that thing is screamin' for a tune. Do you have hptuners? if so i would be more than happy to give you a hand with a good street tune. Also r u going to rt 66 with everyone tommorrow as well?
