Disappointed 12.95
Thats all this combo could muster Saturday. Granted, I havent got this thing tuned in yet but heres the times:
1.79 sixty
12.95 at 105
The good news is that it was deadly consistent: 3 runs, two .95's and one .96
I just really thought and felt this thing was good for some 12.5's and thats what makes me disappointed. Oh well, a good tune, some 60# injectors and some juice and then I'll be pushing the 11's
Oh, keep in mind this car hasn't seen the track in a year & 1/2. The motor/trans has been together that long but time has kept me away. So with about 300 miles on this combo I have yet to really tune it for power. I did not get any logs either. DUH!!!!! I know.

Sounds like you really need a tune, S2 cam on S3 heads and 9.5:1 compression should really scoot. The one caveat I've found is the big heads (IE stage 3) really like the higher boost to make good power.

yea, a tune will wake that monster up for sure. Sounds like she needs a lot too. My setup trapped 105 lol, you should be low teens with that insane setup. Good et's though, for the mph.

Well, I'm only running a 3.0 and thought about changing to a 2.8 or adding some timing, but with the consistent times, I didn't wanna risk losing out on the money. It was a $1k event, so thats the only reason I'm not more pissed about running so slow.
I just dont think the tune is all that far off. Hell, i've made some 2nd gear wot runs to begin tuning for power and this car will tear the tires off for at least 100 feet. The track wouldnt let me run with the laptop in the car and I couldnt get the mpvi to work on the 2nd run, so maybe I just need some track time and hopefully the tune is that far off. I will say that the wb read 11.7 at the times I was able to catch it and boost was only around 12-13.

but 105 mph? Thats wayyy to slow for your mods. You need a tune really bad lol. The et is right on with the 60' and mph, but the mph is way off for your mods.

Mike and Charles, I totally agree that 105 SUCKS. The sixty, the trap speed, the et all equal out. You are right, way slow for my setup. Heres the last time I tuned this back in March. 2 wot throttle runs in 2nd gear, adjusted maf and that was it. No timing adjustments:

honestly i'm not even going to look at those tunes lol, no offense. They aren't important. Give us a scan from tonight, or tomorrow morning one that is current and up to date. Do like 2 or 3 wot runs up to 110ish since thats about what you should be trapping. I want to see timing and afr's. i know you said you looked down and saw 11.7 which is pretty good, but timing is everything. I don't remember seeing an inter cooler in your sig though so i'm not sure how much smaller of a pulley you can run without to much hot air. I'll be willing to bet you are way down on your timing or the pulley might be to small (thats a longshot). Charles is like a freakin' guru, so sending him more information like a newer scan will help so much. He's helped me on numerous occasions and i can't thank him enough.
