PCM Problem or Not?

1st I would like to say awesome customer service at Intense. My 1st PCM was faulty immediately triggers fault codes P0650 and P1670. Todd A. sent out a new PCM quickly.
I just installed the new PCM (Standard PCM level programming) and no DTC fault codes this time but I'm unable to complete a CASE Learn with my aeroforce Interceptor scan gauge.
I follow per Intense instructions and gauge instructions – Set P brake, rev to 4000 rpm fuel cut off is present for 5 seconds then back to idle for 5 seconds then try to rev to 5000 rpm but unable to only rev to 4000 rpm because of fuel cut off. I’ve tried several times with no changes. I've also tried turning off the ignition for 30 seconds then starting and try to rev pass 4000rpm fuel cut off (rev limiter) is still present. Any suggestions?
I do notice some changes with the new PCM (Fans stay on when engine shut off, notice firmer shifting, still get little KR when boosting) car seems to run good and no fault codes present. I have about 60 miles+ on this new PCM.
Is this another problem PCM or not? Any tips or suggestions?
I have an 01 GP GTP, custom cat-back/ubend delete, SLP CAI, 180tstat and alt-rewire.
thanks,
JM

My first suggestion would be to ask Todd at Intense about your concerns as lightning fast responses are the norm. FYI the standard PCM has all the good settings such as transaxle shift behavior adjustments , "skip-shift" settings, elimination of Abuse Mode, providing for "crisper" or "firmer" shifts. As far as the fan's staying on I believe a 180-second key-off run time on the cooling fans is part of the Standard package. Last but not least hte CASE learn procedure can be very aggravating to perform the first couple of times out no matter if your using the GM Dealer's Tech II or the Aeroforce Guage. Just have patience and check out the Aeroforce technical forums if you want as tips and tricks are usually discussed just for these applications.
Hope this helps.

A decent snap on scanner will do it in seconds as well. The aeroforce gauge will do it but it will not display a "case learn successful" message.
