Thinking about running some Nitrous

Hey guys, gotta question here. I am interested in running a nitrous setup. I want one for the street and this is my daily driver.

Here is my mod list.
2002
3.4 pulley
Trasher CAI
DHP PCM
Hi flow cats and mufflers
Autolite 104's gapped at .50
180 T-Sat
Performance Shift "On".

What would I benefit from better? A wet or dry shot......and how big. Where would I put the nitrous fogger nozzle. Close to the TB as possible right?

Wet is safer from what I hear. But if you know what youre doing it is all safe I belive Tharser sells a TB plate for a nitrous setup. I would say start off with a small shot like 50-75hp and you should be safe. There is alot of good info on here about it, If not im sure somone with some more knowledge will chim in

FWW- Unless your street racing at every stop light for money, Then i would just put the $500-750 into other more streetable mods. It will probably cost you $50 to fill a 10lb bottle and it wont last very long

Most people say wet is better because the computer doesn't have to calculate the fuel that is needed. N20 is very safe as long as you use it wisely. Some people say WOT switch others say push button setup. Then some say both with a window switch(activates N20 at certain RPM and cuts the N20 off at a certain RPM). You don't want to be spraying between shifts, because it will kill your tranny real fast. I like the idea of a push button, but at the same time you have to concentrate on when your car is going to be shifting. That way you can let off, and you also have to concentrate on when to push the button. You don't want to be dumping N20 in the motor before it has left the line. That's the fastest way to get N20 backfire. I will be installing a NX wet kit on my GTP as my final modification. Your S/C has plenty of room to be played with, but there's nothing better than bolting on a N20 kit, and spraying. It's an awsome feeling, and you wouldn't believe how alive your car becomes. It all boils down to what setup is right for you, and sometimes how much thinking you want to do when it's time to race. As far as the bottle is concerned that's something you might want to look into. Call around your local performance shops and see how much they are charging per pound to fill a bottle up. Here(dallas) it runs roughly $2.75-$3.00 a pound. Which isn't too bad, but also depends on how often you are going to be racing. Good luck and let us know what you decide if you have anymore questions just post up and ask. N20 is something that shouldn't be toyed with unless you know what you are doing.

nos

i think the best set up is to have a wide open throttle switch, the nitrous is only activated when you you floor4 it, so you have complete control of the system?
