2000 ls impala hee hee swap ? OH YESSS!!!

im on the hard core road to make my boat move. lol that's what my other half calls it. im going to put the 5.3l ls4 v8 from the 2006 ss impala in mine, and then super charge it. i love my body so no im not just going to buy a new one. so any help or ideas are welcome. i will post pics soon. 2mean4u signing out

that is great and all....but there is no commerically produced supercharger kit for the LS4..not to mention the clearance issues and belt routing. Now the Cartuning Turbo kit would be a nice addition.

personally i would just L67 swap it, and do a big build

so you dont think the Whipple supercharger will work? i have never done a turbo dont know how reliable and officiant they are?

too expensive and not worth it to do those things, the whipple is also real expensive and has a lot of custom parts in it . either just do the v8 swap or what you should do it get a genv sc and intercool it and xp cam .

what kind of hp will that put me at? i want to be about 300

300 at the wheels , intercooler , headers , air box or intake of some sort , and either a cam or 1.9 rockers , 42.5 injectors and fuel pump rewire and a good tune . The larger the cam the easier the hp of course.

ok i got the intake from wide body store it gos into the finder , i really looked into it had bought the engain it will work my god i need a parts car to finish it so im giving up. but would love some help with name of good cam size and othier stuff mentioned by ramairetransam thank you guys so much.
