whoa, as you can tell i'm new...
For starters:
The names brian and i'm of course an auto enthusiast.
What i drive:
-1995 mitsubishi eclipse (it's slow)
-1993 ford thunderbird w/swapped out 5.0 with pretty much all the goodies. hehe
Now, i'm here cause i just stumbled upon a 1994 oldsmobile 98 with the supercharged option...woot.
it's clean, low mileaged and it looks like it'll be a perfect screw around car for me.
oh yeah, basically gettin it for free.
what to do to it, make it fun and make raise a few questions by people i choose to mess with. Not a race car but i do want the occasional "what the...."
oh yeah, i'm a good guy, i like to add in a helping hand... look forward to positively contributing to the board.
thanks
Brian

Hey Brian, welcome to the board. Check out the stickies in the general tech, there is some technical write ups you can use for some beginning mods. the problem you may find with the car is that the computer can't be reprogramed as easily because it's prior to the OBD2 systems I believe. You need a 97 or newer car I think. So unfortunately, unless you can find someone who can custom tune the PCM in your car to accept the new pulley and other changes, the mods you do can become fatal to the lifepsan of your engine. I'm sure others may chime in with more detailed information.

True, this would be an OBD1 car...limiting just about any tuning possibilities.
What possibly could be done though would to take a computer system out of a 1997+ grand prix GTP and do a slight conversion.
might make it a little easier, although swapping out the wiring could be a slight pain in the arse.

Agreed. I'd keep that AWD as well. They can be very quick and styling still looks great today. I don't know if I by the whole thing about yours being slow though, something tells me you may be harnessing a sleeper. In that case welcome to the W-Body scene. Sleepers are very abundant here!

yeah....
full evo9 swapout. stroked 2.0 4G63 to 2.4l w/forged pistons-HKS 272-272 cams, 6speed from evo.
GT-35R turbo
FMIC
680cc injectors.
balance shaft deleted
and oh yeah, from the outside it looks completely stock... all you notice is that it has a twin tip flowmaster 44 muffler in place of the stock one
