KR is knock retard. It's the computers way of dealing with preignition (aka, detonation, spark knock, abnormal combustion). The computer will retard the timing if it gets a knock signal from the knock sensors. This timing retard will cause you to loose power. Keeping KR to a minimum is the goal. Keep combustion chamber temps low (cooler t/stat, good tune, sealed off air intake, etc) to prevent KR. I dont think a PA is either a W,G, or H body. It used to be a C body but GM may designate it differently now. Check the 4th digit of the VIN.

You wanna know why?! Because if people don't expect a GTP to be fast, they will be in for one hell of a surprise when they get walked by a PAU!!!! Those are the sleepers of sleepers, they are just a little on the heavy side so they take a little more push to get them going fast! Good luck and welcome to the forum! Look for a gentleman named, Gonneville i believe he has a PAU (Park Ave Ultra) and he's got his going pretty quick as far as i can tell. He can point you in the right direction on what to buy and what not to buy. He's a nice guy as well, just like pretty much everyone on this forum!
