Where can I buy a good kr scanner?

I really want to start modding but my car is my DD and I want to do it safely. I really dont want anything that will be in my car I want something that I can plug in and test and take off. I dont want to to see some stupid gauge. What do you suggest I get?

HPT is a great tool.

It's laptop based, depending on the package you get has tuning ability and will monitor not only KR, but the various parameters that many find key in understanding why one has KR.

why dont you post something asking if you can borrow somones scanner..

If you did that you can save $200 and put it towared a shortstack incooler... Im cheap lol
