Anyone else experience this??

I noticed today, I was under the hood messin around installing my new Taylor 8mm wires, when I revved the engine, the entire MAP sensor and PCV valve assembly would like bulge with rpm's. So when I would give it throttle, it would like get pushed out. And it seemed that if I held the assembly down and gave it gas the throttle was more responsive. The assembly is fairly new, I bought it about 3k miles ago. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this too?? Or if it is something I should look into trying to fix.
