a few q's for the pro's

ok i have a 98 se
its got 170xxx
the lower intake gastet is going out, and ive thought about a swap, but i want to stay dd..i dont do any racing on the street

i am thinking of adding, a intense pcm, and doing a 60 shot of zex

would this break my car into the 14's...its really my main goal of this car

my fastest time so far is 15.6

i have looked at a top swap from milzy, but i cold get a l67 for that price

my mods so far are a intake, full exhuast(no mufflers, just a glasspack where the res was), 180*, and s/c coolant tank

i am looking to run mid 14's...it would more than make me happy.

could some one explain my options

(also i am looking for rocker covers off a gt/gtp for cheap, i need a hook up)

I put 75 shot dry on my '02 GT several years ago. It ran 14.8 stock + NOS, and that was with crappy 2.3 60's.

As for the PCM, I would make sure the timing is at least stock, or better yet, get a PCM set up for adjustable timing and a timing commander to decrease timing when using the NOS.

If you spray be sure to get a TB adapter plate and spray AFTER the MAF sensor.

well you could get a hv3 and install that while you have the uim off, made a great gain for me and many others..high ratio rockers are good if you dont want to install a cam, pcm is a good idea maybe port and polish some heads and go with a thinner head gasket to increase compression

the motor will sit lower on either side, also if you look at the mounts if they are chewed up and leaking oil that means its time for a new. givin the year of your car the mounts are cheap and easy to fix so i would just change em anyways. i have a L36 biggest gains i got was the downpipe, hv3 and rockers
