Cam Install Questions

I just bought a ZZP cam GT1....just wondering how hard it is to install when the motor is in the car....and i know i need lower intake gaskets, timing chain gasket....and would I need new lifters and push rods? it was a last minute buy and wanna use it while i have it so and help would be appreciated

I've never done one while the motor was in the car but on the W-bodies you can go through the fenderwell. I'm pretty sure you can stick with stock lifters and pushrods; upgrading valve springs and atleast a new timing chain & damper would be a good idea.

Do u know if i have to remove my strut and all that jazz to?
what would i tighten the rocker arms down to again or how should i go about adjusting them?

I'm pretty sure you will have to remove the 3 nuts on the top of the shock tower to allow the cradle to come down enough for install. The rocker arm bolts should be 11 lb ft + 90 degrees for Torque to Yeild bolts and 25 lb ft for re-useable bolts (I think, lol.)

Ok....so i dont need to replace the valve springs,lifters or pushrods? i just want a little more out of my daily driver. so i dont want to get to carried away.

You can stick with the stock lifters, pushrods and rockers. Change the springs and consider reusable rocker bolts as they are priced to compete with OEM.

Depending on your mileage the chain/gears would be an automatic including the chain tensioner. You can pop the ball joint and lower the one side of the cradle to ensure alignment is unaffected. undoin the strut mount may change alignment slightly.
