Backfire,stalling etc....
Just got around to finishing my L36 TB swap ive been running the same 85mm MAF for a couple of months now. so after i got my TB and everything else done I start it up but it dies, I checked for vacum leaks but cant find any. If i try to give it gas it backfires and stalls out anyway, If i unplug my MAF it stays on and runs but its in safe mode  im all out of ideas hopefully you guys do. TIA

Actually i have a small vac leak but would it cause the the car to do those things??

when i had a vac. leak my car would die at idle but if i gave it gas i could keep it running, but it was very rough

im inclined to believe the MAF got damaged due to the backfire ill find out tommorow for sure when i get another MAF sensor thanks for the input guys

:update ok got the vac leak fixed finally, so now it idles fine no throttle assistance needed, I happen to pull all my plugs to check them out while i was porting EM's and found they were black as hell, i switched back to my 19lb injectors and ditched the tr55 plug and put my iridium's back in (3000 miles +,- ) started up perfect with MAF plugged in and everything, but now if i rev it up it breaks up after 3700 RPM, is my CAT gone to hell because of the rich condition its been in orrr something else TIA

birthday is coming soon so emissions test will have to be done plus i never really felt it hurt any performance hell im still n/a so i dont see the little bit of backpressure caused to hurt anyrthing
