need help plugging coolant holes in the LIM

just wanted to know if it was ok to block offthese 2 coolant holes in the LIM thanks for the advice as always

filled mine with 2 npt plugs and some 2 part epoxy. no problems at all. i figured my tb adaptor doesnt allow coolant to enter the tb anyways so whats the point of keeping them

Yeah you can block em off...I wish I had done my last time when doing the gaskets.

Anyways are you doing some port/clean up there? Why on the car and not the lower intake off?

Just curious..I wouldnt have the guts to do it on the car since my luck isnt that good and theres alot of metal shavings there!!

yea i got it all done a while ago i stuffed rags into all the intake and ground the runners smooth but i already had the cylinder ports stuffed as well nothing got into the engine here are some of the after pics

Thats some nice work! I remember how inconsistant the LIM was when placing gaskets along the ports..some had what "looked" like 1/2 inch of casting/metal blocking the flow!I may be new here but keep us informed how it comes out!

i havent chopped up a SI/LN3/LG3 LIm but this should give you an idea to look for and possible side effects if you can map out your coolant flow..
