Angry HELP!! Engine trouble....

so, Yesterday i did upper and lower intake gaskets, and valve cover gaskets. I have done this on other vehicles before, and this one went without incident. I did everything buy the book...correct torque settings...etc. I did convert the car to regular green antifreeze, but I did flush it well.

Heres where the trouble starts. Today on the way to work I noticed the engine losing power. I started to pull off the highway and the engine died. I got to the bottom of the offramp, managed to get it started, but it started VERY hard, hardly cranking, and when it did start it was knocking like crazy. I got going, the engine killed again, and I managed to coast into a parking lot. I started it up again and listened under the hood. It runs hard, and when revved, it knocks from what sounds like the top end, just under the valve covers. Its a hard knock, almost sounds like a lack of oil, but I can see oil squirting around through the oil filler tube when i rev it...

alright, anyone have any ideas on what it could be or what I could have done wrong?

im assuming your N/a you probably forgot about the coolant 0-rings in the LIM to UIM being so coolant will escape into the airstream causing serious issues and eventually a hydrolock pull the UIM and check for any coolant leaks replace o-rings as neccesary and pray everything works okay you might have to chasnge your plugs as well

I would check the oil and make sure you don't have coolant getting in there. What do the plugs look like?

No coolant in the oil. I was wrong, the knock was bottom end...I spun a rod bearing...most likely unrelated to the work I did on it. Its ok though...Ive got a brand new l26 lined up...
