got a serious question my mechanic who I am about to make a believer out of the power of a 3800 V6 and he's done nothing but big blocks, he asked me a question I cant answer he needs the torque psi for bolting down the slp 1.8 roller rockers and also the same for the obx headers I am putting on

I have a problem with my Prix GT 1998 3.8 4d. I had to unplug the MAF sensor, because it was impossible to drive with the MAF in use. When you have the MAF Plug the car didn't have power, you push the gas to the botton and the car star run slowly and when you free the gas the Rev quickly drop down and the engine dead.

The big question in this problem is the ECU didn't registry any code. I unpluged the MAF, TPS, Injetor, O2S.... and other sensor and the ECU didn't registry any code or turn on the light.

the car have been spending a lot of gas, you can smell pure gasoline in the exhaust.

What do you think i should have to do?, i don't live in USA, so for me is too difficult
to find a good GM mechanic and to get part especially body parts.

Anothething Do you know where i can find online the back right door molding and the body side lower molding.

I have a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera.I bought it from an old lady for 200.00 after her husband passed away she told me it had a blown head gasket.I would like to know what Compatible engine I can get to do an engine swap with.Would a Chevy or Buick Engine be compatible?Any information will be helpful.

I've never done a Park Avenue swap, but that should make for a good forum topic.

Jasen - your car shake could be anything from a suspension or tire problem, to an engine misfire or transaxle problem. I recommend having a professional diagnose the car for you.

Regarding the 1999 Caravan with the locked engine, it depends on what you mean by 'locked'. I recommend taking it to a professional mechanic and getting a proper diagnosis.

Hi I'm new to this site. But I really need some help. I have a 97 Buick Park Avenue with a regular 3800 Series II and I'm tryin to swap it out with a 98 Grand Prix Supercharged 3800 Series II. Do you know anyone that attempted this or am I tha only one? I'm runnin into Craddle problems and Harness problems. I think I figured out tha craddle problems but tha computer and harness is another story. Can ya point me in tha right direction? Thanx
