1999 GTP FAI intake

hey my buddy jus picked up a 99gtp sedan, (havent seen it yet) friday he wants to pull it into the shop have me do a FAI for him, pretty simple i believe but anyone whos done one before any advice? jus 4" tubing to the filter right? and what about the sensor on their? what have otheres done? thanks! btw the filter is a open element shorter style. i know how to open up that fender cover but will tubing run right threw or what...

Keep the same size diameter (3") for your duct, as to your TB, and run the largest cone filter possible. One major improvement you can make is to construct a cool box, to breathe out of. Hot engine air makes no power, scrubbing it with the blower, will only make it worse. Good luck!

Application above works well for stock and mild applications. Jumping to the LQ4 MAF with a tune, I would definitely increase tube size to a short 4" piece to acclamate transition.

ahh alright i'll go with 3" on it than, he wants it down in the fender so i guess we'll see how it goes. My PAU i'm going to build a box like your talking about for
