l67 intake manifold VS. l32 intake manifold

I just got a gen V supercharger and I was wondering which intake manifold would flow better, an l67 intake manifold modded for a gen V or and l32 gen v intake manifold. I want the best performance for my car obviously and I have a l67 manifold lined up but if an l32 one flows better then id rather hunt for one of those. Any benefits to one over the over beisde the fact I dont have to cut the l32 to make it work?

the only difference in the 2 that I know of is the inlet size itself. Numerous people that have done these swaps basically "modding" the L67 LIM opening to work with the GenV blower. Just get a GenV gasket and you will see what you need to open up. I think there is one other hole in the L32 LIM, but doesn't effect use or performance.

With that being the only difference, I don't believe there is a difference in flow. Just that the blower is more efficent. You can port the LIM outlets a bit to help the air flow run smoother.

I would recommed getting a 06+ L32 lower intake and supercharger gasket.
I just got mine and and they are sweet for non intercooled use.

The supercharger gasket is aluminum and only .10 more then the old Gen V gasket. The lower intake is a little over $100.00 new from the dealer.

That's pretty interesting. Do they look different physically? The Gaskets are different too? I'd like to see some comparison for myself.

Yes the gasket is different.
Click the image to open in full size.

That is an image from when I scanned it so part of the edge is missing.
As you can see the gasket is solid aluminum and has rubber molded seals around the important areas.

You can't use this one for intercooled uses because if you made the supercharger outlet hole larger you would ruin the seal that is there. I have some Ideas on how to fix this on one of the extras I boughts

The lower intake is almost exactly the same as the 04-05 L32 except it has a large Supercharger locating dowel pipe where the EGR hole is located. Also the two coolent holes are not machined for the little O-rings any more since the new gasket has the seals molded into it.

-Greg

Edit: I forgot to post the part numbers for everyone.
06+ Gen V supercharger gasket - retails for $37.37 - 12584411
06+ Gen V lower intake manifold - retails for $166.74 - 12603871
