Fuel Guage type
I have a 1991 regal and did an l67 swap. I got all the wiring done for the swap to OBD2 as well but my guages are off. My speedo says way more than I'm going and my fuel guage reads full but at the same time my low fel light is on! lol
Question: What specs for an aftermarket guage? I need to know what the sending units put out as the range from empty to full. I am going to hope that grand prixs or any other gen 2 wbody uses the same specs as my 1st gen.
Also is any electric speedo ok? Would it tap into the wire coming out of the PCM that would run to my stock speedo or straight from the VSS?
Thanks,
Deia

Can anyone confirm ohm ratings here? If what I found is accurate then it looks as this guage will work. This is great for people wanting to make a custom dash cluster and "modernize" the look of the dash.

The speedo is different as the pulses per mile are different from the older OBD1 and the newer OBD2 cars.
IIRC the older was 1001 pulses per mile and the new ones are like 4000.
So is your speedo say 4x off?
